YIKES Halloween !!!

A full moon, munchkins in costume, bobbing for apples, bats, bugs, spider webs and leafless trees -- tricks and treats. All of these conjure up a scary (and fun) Halloween enjoyed by young and old.

Here is a little "Yikes Halloween Mini Sampler" cross stitch pattern which can be worked up easily because it is stitched with one color of floss -- Halloween Black. You'll have this chart finished very quickly with time left over to pass out the candy.

The model for this mini sampler was stitched on 18-count natural linen over 2 threads using DMC #310 black. The design area is 26 stitches wide by 59 stitches high. My finished model is approximately 3 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. Don't forget to allow for a 2-3 inch border on all four sides for framing.
