Ladybug Alphabet Image

Ladybug, Ladybug, Fly Away Home . . . .

I always gazed at the ladybug with a certain amount of respect and a little sadness. She was a "Mom" away from the house because she needed to be; yet in her absence the house catches fire. Who will help her young'ns? Only the child who knows the verse! Quick warn her! Alert her to the danger. Tell her to quick fly away. She is desperately needed at home. (I think she makes it home every time.)

The Ladybug Alphabet is simple and quite easy to stitch. You may use your choice of fabric, though the design is for a 14-count evenweave -- white is a good color choice. Only two colors of floss are used, black and red. This alphabet would look very nice on a white band sampler hanging in a kitchen with red and back themes.

Enjoy the pattern and don't forget to tell me how you used it if you stitch it up. I enjoy hearing the creative ways stitchers discover to use the designs.
