Half-dolls,
silhouettes and stitchery -- three of my favorite things.
Stitch each little half doll script letter as an ornament or on a
sampler -- or just be creative. Let me know what you come up with!
You may use any size fabric or thread. The design uses 18-count Wichelt
English Rose Linen. The ornament uses a 5-inch square fabric piece,
allowing for a 1-inch border on all four sides. You will want to trim
the border down to approximately 1/4 inch after the ornament is
constructed.
You may also use your choice of thread. The design uses 2 strands of Weeks
Dye Works #1303 - Charcoal. The design is stitched over one thread
on 18 count linen. The finished ornament should be an approximate 3-inch
square.
I hope you enjoy collecting and stitched the "Half Doll
Silhouette Alphabet" I had a great time designing them!
