Needleworkers love the abc's -- band samplers are a perfect place to stitch the alphabet.

Summer will soon be here. All the little birds in my area have found homes and are raising their young! I've designed a bird house band sampler to welcome them to our community!

What follows is a series of free patterns you can use to create your own band sampler.

Design Size: 30 stitches wide by 136 stitches high
Color Key: DMC 6 strand cotton floss; color key is on each pattern

This design should fit nice on a 4 1/2 inch wide even-weave band. An appropriate length would be about 20 inches long (allowing extra length for top and bottom borders).

I hope you enjoy the "Bird House Alphabet Band Sampler" -- I had a great time designing it!
