The
sweet smell of musty . . .
You know that smell, the
one when you open a trunk or old box left long in a storage room or
garage. It is the fragrance reminding you of dank places
and incredible treasures to be discovered. You open the lid
and expose the items within, left too long unexposed to sunshine and
loving attention. Perhaps it is the smell of paper and dimness,
as you wander between shelves of the public or university library, row
upon row of papers and books highlighted as you pass between them by
little glimpses of light from some far window.
Sometimes that smell is
sour. Many times the fragrance is oddly sweet. When you wander
through the sweet smell of musty that you are sure to uncover some
gem! That is the fun of the Internet! The sour smell of
musty soon fades as bits of information are found and shared with like
minds across the world.
I can't reproduce that
sweet smell of musty over the Internet, but I can index my pages in such a
manner that as this site grows, you will be able to wander through its
aisles in search of that bit of information you know you saw here the
last time you checked!
All those treasure need
are . . .
. . . just a little
airing and a little caring!
Enjoy!
